About the Role
Uplift360 Europe is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Project Manager to join our sustainable materials start-up. The individual will be a key member of the Uplift360 scientific and management team, with a specific focus on driving and overseeing advanced material circular economy projects being developed in collaboration with industry, governments, and academia across Luxembourg, Europe and with our UK team.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing project development and delivery, requiring management of resource, personnel, and partnerships. You will report directly to Uplift360 Strategic Leadership, working closely with other team members.
As a circular economic advanced materials company, you will be working with material scientists, sustainability experts, chemists, engineers, and other operatives to bring technology to the market. The right candidate will have a technical background in one or more of these areas and proven project management experience. They will be comfortable engaging and communicating with key stakeholders, whilst being enthusiastic about fighting climate change, circular economics, and material technology.

We are an advanced materials company, developing novel chemical-based technology to reduce the environmental impact of advanced material production and disposal in a wide range of sectors. Through the development of novel low-energy chemical systems, Uplift360’s ground-breaking circular economic technologies are creating new alternatives to incineration or landfill for advanced materials. As a Technical Project Manager your key accountabilities will include:
• Leading and coordinating project management activities including managing required resources, equipment, information, timeline, and budgets for multiple projects.
• Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with all internal and external project stakeholders including customers, partners, and suppliers
• Supporting the scientific team with project timelines, deliverables, planning, and administration.
• Supporting the scientific team with equipment and facilities requirements needed for the projects. This could include liaising with contractors, setting up contracts, and purchasing equipment
• Managing grant stakeholders and administrating on required deliverables both financial and technological
• Delivering project and programme outputs against agreed criteria including time,
• Ensuring that Uplift360’s vision, values and mission are upheld and being an effective ambassador for the company
• Attending and assisting at Uplift360 events and activities as required (this may require travel, evening, and weekend work)
• Additional responsibilities as required
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Qualities:
• Demonstrative experience of successfully managing and delivering complex technology development projects, dealing with demanding timescales, uncertainty, and risk
• Hold a qualification or have proven strong experience in material science, chemical engineering, chemistry, or equivalents subjects. Experience in Aerospace or Material sectors will also be considered
• Exhibit strong leadership and initiative
• Possess outstanding organisational skills, including multitasking, time, and budget management
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a passion for sustainability and circularity in technology innovation
• Be located within Luxembourg or be legally able to and willing to relocate to Luxembourg (Uplift360 does not support relocation costs)
• Possess an excellent command in spoken and written French & English • Be a self-starter, comfortable in operating in fast paced and uncertain environments.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
• A recognised project management qualification (such as AMP, PMP, PRINCE2)
• Experience in material technology or circular economic technology would be beneficial.

Job Title: Relationship Manager

About the Role
The Relationship Manager will be an enthusiastic individual who will join our sustainable material development and circular economy company. They will coordinate and manage relationships with our strategic partners, customers, stakeholders to enable company growth and commercial success. They will support operations conducted by Uplift360 in Europe and the UK. The individual MUST be eligible to work in the European Union and be able to travel unrestricted into and out of the UK.
The individual will be a skilled professional with business development and grant/bid writing experience, preferably with a combination of academic and commercial experience in the any of the materials, defence, aerospace, space, or automotive sectors.
Broad Requirements
The Relationship Manager will act as the Uplift360 interface between current and potential clients in Europe and the UK, Uplift360 leadership and other key entities. Key responsibilities include working closely across company functions to help identify new funding opportunities, create, and manage new partner relationships as well as manage and nurture ongoing and current business development opportunities.
Uplift360 will ensure this opportunity will help the Relationship Manager acquire/increase skills in innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. This is a key position in a rapidly growing tech start-up with significant opportunities for advancement as the company grows.
Responsibilities
● Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
● Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
● Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
● Approach potential customers to establish relationships
● Lead and coordinate bid writing and grant writing needs for the business
● Drafting, reviewing and writing creative and persuasive tender content;
● Building effective working relationships and communicating with internal and external customers
● Completing bid planning documents including bid summaries, project plans, gap analysis and other documents
● Researching and summarising markets, competitors, and other bid-related topics
● Identify grant opportunities based on strategic guidance and technological needs and roadmap
● Support the start-up team with various tasks as required
