FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - 30 April 2026
Bristol, United Kingdom, and Luxembourg : Uplift360, the advanced materials scale-up transforming how aerospace, defence and industrial sectors source high-performance materials, today announced Alistair Donaldson as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its executive leadership as the company enters its next phase of industrial growth.
The appointment comes as Uplift360 advances toward scale deployment of its proprietary chemical regeneration technologies, including ChemR, designed to recover high-performance fibres from material surplus and end-of-life assets under low-temperature, low-energy conditions.
Alistair brings extensive experience in industrialising deep technologies, having previously served as CTO at Levidian Nanosystems, where he led the transition of complex technologies from laboratory development to commercial-scale deployment. At Uplift360, he will be responsible for hyper-scaling the company’s core processes into robust, industrial systems capable of supporting high-performance manufacturing supply chains.
A materials scientist and technology leader with over 20 years of experience at Rolls-Royce, Alistair has a proven track record of accelerating early-stage innovations to market and building high-performing technical teams across global environments. His expertise spans technology scale-up, process engineering, and organisational leadership, alongside experience as a board director and advisor to emerging technology companies.
